Copyright & Takedowns

Our position
ShelfSpace is an independent, fan-made tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any toy company or brand. Product and character names are used to identify the products collectors own.
Catalog images are used to identify products in a reference catalog. We are progressively replacing them with photography we shoot ourselves and with images contributed by collectors under licence. We do not generate character imagery with AI, and we will not.
If you hold rights to an image here
Tell us and we will remove it. We aim to action valid requests within 24 hours. You do not need to send a formal legal notice for us to act — an email identifying the image is enough.
To help us move quickly, include:
- A link to the page or the specific image.
- What the image is, and the basis for your claim.
- How to reach you.
Send this to our copyright contact address. If you prefer to submit a formal DMCA notice, our designated agent details are listed there as well.
If your content was removed
If you contributed a photo that was removed and you believe that was a mistake, contact us with the details and we will review it.
Counterfeits
We do not sell anything, and we do not verify whether items are genuine. Our badges only record that a collector submitted a photo or a serial code at a point in time. If you are a rights holder concerned about counterfeits, we will cooperate on removing listings-style content that promotes them, but we are not able to authenticate items.
